Workshop Format

The AIED'09 session of SWEL is planned as a full day workshop consisting of the following:

• Keynote talk

Learner Models as Metadata to Support E-Learning,
Gord McCalla, University of Saskatchewan, Canada


• Paper presentation sessions - 20 minutes per paper including 5 minutes for discussion.


• Poster and Software demonstration and discussion session – 2 hours.


• Discussion Panel (panelists will be invited to present key questions for discussion and their positions on them) – 1 hour.
