PROGRAM MISSION
The computer science program provides quality state-of-the-art education in
computer science and information technology to undergraduate students at WSSU.
STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of the computer science program, students will:
1. Exhibit proficiency in the design and development of computer programs and
software systems.
2. Exhibit proficiency in the application of principles of computer
organization and architecture.
3. Exhibit proficiency in the application of computer software, hardware,
related technologies, procedures, and theories to problem solving.
4. Show evidence of having achieved WSSU Educational Goals.
