
MINOR IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
The computer science minor program serves students from all academic
disciplines and seeks to provide computer literacy and competence to
enhance career opportunities within one's discipline. The computer science
minor requires 19 hours of computer science beyond CSC 1306.
The required courses are:
CSC 1310 Computer Programming I
CSC 1311 Computer Programming II
CSC 2311 Data Structures
CSC 23xx Language (Select CSC 2301, 2303, or 2350)
CSC 21xx (1 SH CSC lab)
CSC 3310 Introduction to File Processing)
CSC 3xxx (Any 3000 level CSC course for which pre-requisites are met)
