Seed Grant

Research Seed Grant

The North Carolina Space Grant Consortium invites proposals for grants that foster the growth of exploratory programs that involve a space-related discipline or interdisciplinary field of interest to NASA, and to provide resources necessary to develop proposals for significant long-range support external to NC Space Grant funding. Projects that involve university industry or university-university partnerships are encouraged. The technical quality of the proposed research, and the potential for developing long-range cooperative efforts through funding external to Space Grant are the two key criteria for

funding to support new projects or programs. The maximum award per project is $5,000. All recipients of awards will be expected to participate in the annual NC Space Grant Conference.
