Research Seed Grant
The North Carolina Space Grant Consortium invites proposals for grants that foster the growth of exploratory programs that involve a space-related discipline or interdisciplinary field of interest to NASA, and to provide resources necessary to develop proposals for significant long-range support external to NC Space Grant funding. Projects that involve university industry or university-university partnerships are encouraged. The technical quality of the proposed research, and the potential for developing long-range cooperative efforts through funding external to Space Grant are the two key criteria for funding to support new projects or programs. The maximum award per project is $5,000. All recipients of awards will be expected to participate in the annual NC Space Grant Conference. Eligibility All NC Space Grant member universities are eligible to participate. Preference is given to new faculty members.
