HIGHER EDUCATION
The main objective of WSSU Space Grant Consortium Higher Education
Program is to enhance understanding and appreciation of the benefits of
space exploration and to develop curricula to support and encourage
space based research. The Education Program goals are:
- Provide opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in
space based research and exploration.
- Support NASA related research activities through student projects
- Facilitate mentor relationships between students, faculty and the
NASA community.
- Development of interdisciplinary space related courses and
curricula.
- Development of a Space Science Option in the Computer Science
curriculum.
